Shortlisting: Making Your Decision

Once you and your users have added shortlisting scores & recommendations, it’s time to review the scores and make the final decision.

Click Make Decision to start - only shortlisting users with ‘Can Make Decision’ ticked can see this tab.

You’ll see a box for each applicant with:

1. Total and average score - average is calculated by dividing the total score by the number of shortlisters.

2. The scores each user has entered,

3. Any notes they’ve added and their recommendation.

4. Any scores that don’t meet the minimum score are highlighted in red.

5. A Shortlist? field - click Yes or No to make a decision on this applicant.

There’s also a toolbar at the top and bottom giving you a few options:

Score Summary: click to download the scores in CSV or PDF format

Sort By: sort the list by ID, Name, Application Status, Total Score or Average Score.

Save: save the shortlisting decisions you’ve made so far.

Save & Contact Unsuccessful: save your shortlisting decisions and go to the email screen to contact the unsuccessful applicants.

Cancel: cancel your changes.

Once you’ve saved the page, applicants will move into Shortlisting or Unsuccessful status based on your decision.
