Pre-employment checks are the steps you need to take to hire someone - checking their right to work in the UK, for example, or that they have a clean driving licence.
You can setup Pre-Employment Checks in this section, then select them when you add a vacancy. Later on, you’ll be able to enter dates for each check on an applicant’s record to show whether they’ve been completed & keep a track of progress.
Standard Checks: we setup three standard checks that it’s best not to edit because they control other system functions. These are DBS, DBS Enhanced and Driving Licence - the DBS ones show applicants a job requires a DBS check, and the driving licence one turns on the driving licence question in your application form.
To add a Pre-Employment Check go to Settings > PreEmployment Checks.
Name: the name for your pre-employment check
Mandatory: tick Yes if you want this check to be set as a default on every new vacancy.
