Jobsgopublic sponsoring the PPMA
Sam Wilson, The 6th of November, 2015

We are delighted to announce that we have become a ‘Platinum Sponsor’ of the Public Sector People Managers’ Association (PPMA).

Having formed a growing relationship with the PPMA over the last couple of years, we wanted to extend this relationship and contribute further to the fantastic work that they do.

The PPMA are committed to raising the standards of people management and development throughout the public sector. They aim to provide a single voice that effectively represents the views and interests of the Human Resources (HR) and Organisational Development (OD) professions. This will, in turn, empower them to enable effective people management and development throughout their organisations.

Our sponsorship will include members of our team speaking at a number of events across the year on a range of topics affecting HR and OD professionals in the public sector.

For the first event we will be discussing ‘Future proofing the public sector” and the results of our survey of current students and recent graduates and their perceptions of the public sector. The aim of this research will be to enable public sector employers to better communicate with younger candidates, securing the future of the sector. In order for the public sector to have a prosperous future it is essential that gaps are bridged between the older and younger workforce.

With 16 years of experience and a loyal public and not for profit sector candidate base, we felt that this placed us in a unique position to share the knowledge and insight that we have developed. With the values and vision of the PPMA aligning consistently with our own, they were the perfect partner to help us make this contribution.

We are extremely excited to be part of the fantastic work done by the PPMA and making our own contribution. We look forward to the opportunity to meet many of you at the first event on December 11th 2015.
