Jobsgopublic shortlisted for Personnel Today HR Supplier Partnership award
Sam Wilson, The 19th of September, 2016

Jobsgopublic find ourselves in the prestigious company of some industry heavyweights in the shortlist for the HR Supplier Partnership category at this year’s Personnel Today Awards.

The HR Supplier Partnership category is unique in nature. The category is only open to entries from suppliers nominated by entrants to other categories in the 2016 Personnel Today Awards.

Our place on the shortlist comes off the back of a long-standing and high-achieving partnership with Medway Council.

What began as a transactional relationship, consisting of primarily ad-hoc advertising, has developed significantly over the past decade. It has blossomed into a prime example of the capabilities of a partnership of this nature.

Recent achievements have seen Jobsgopublic help Medway Schools enhance their approach to recruitment. This came off the back of Jobsgopublic’s extensive research project into how teacher’s want to find and apply for jobs. This then led to us hosting workshops to present their findings and subsequent recommendations. This resulted in the mass implementation of online application forms and applicant tracking systems in schools across Medway, transforming the way they were recruiting.

These initiatives have brought about some impressive results, this includes a massive increase in applications and significant savings in recruitments costs, estimated to be thousands of pounds.

We’re delighted to have been recognised in this way by such a prestigious body as Personnel Today. We believe that our work with Medway has allowed us to set new standards in public sector recruitment. It shows what can be achieved when two organisations, such as ours, work together in partnership.

We firmly believe that partnership working such as this is the way forward when it comes to tackling the various challenges faced by public sector organisations when looking to find the best new recruits with increasingly tightening budgets.

The awards will be held on 22nd November 2016 at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane in London.
