In recent years, we have seen a huge number of successful partnerships form and thrive. A variety of public sector organisations have found that by combining their experience, expertise and resources they’re able to significantly increase their capabilities and take on bigger, more challenging projects.

The ambitious nature of these collaborations have always struck a chord with us. As a result, we always jump at the chance to play a part in helping newly formed shared services attract equally ambitious professionals to drive them forward.

This is why we were delighted to join forces with Building Control Solutions to help them recruit to some crucial roles.

Building Control Solutions were formed by Wokingham Borough Council and The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead in 2015. The partnership, as it stands today, was completed in July 2016 when West Berkshire Council joined.

It was founded on a shared desire to strengthen and develop the already impressive building control services of each individual authority. They have set out to deliver building control services in a different way – one that adopts innovative approaches to enhance their offering for customers and local communities.
