PPMA recognise achievements of Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Apprenticeship recruitment campaign

So, the dust has settled on yet another fantastic annual PPMA Conference and Awards. We were delighted to celebrate with Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue as the recruitment campaign for their apprenticeship scheme took the award for Best Value for Money Recruitment Campaign.
We were thrilled to work with Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue on this campaign, helping to ensure that they were best positioned to attract and recruit the next generation of firefighters.
Buckinghamshire had an exciting offer, paving the way for young people to pursue a career in fire and rescue. The apprenticeship scheme would allow candidates with no previous firefighting experience to learn on the job, earn a proper wage and gain two qualifications (NVQ and BTEC).
They just faced a couple of key challenges – a tight budget and an even tighter timeframe. Jobsgopublic jumped at the chance to partner with Bucks Fire and Rescue to help them overcome these challenges. We built a campaign microsite to give them a platform to promote their fantastic offer and carried out a highly targeted attraction campaign – ensuring they could reach the right candidates at minimal cost.
The campaign was a resounding success and we’re ecstatic that the dedicated people at Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue have been recognised by PPMA. We look forward to hopefully working with them more in the future.
Congratulations to all the other winners on the night, all incredibly deserving and, as ever, it was great to have the chance to celebrate the incredible work taking place across the public sector.
Also, a massive thank you to everyone who attended our ‘Future Workforce’ session, it was great to share the research we did in partnership with PPMA. If anyone would like to find out more then please get in touch.
Looking forward to next year already!
